At the begining, Gabrielle visits a palm reader who says she will encounter someone tall dark and handsome (Xena?) While the boat is floating around under water, Xena and Gabrielle hold hands as Gabrielle asks "What are we gonna do?" And of course at the end they wash up on shore and Gabrielle runs to Xena, giving her a big ol' lesbian hug and they walk back to the others, arms around each other. Okay, not much to review in this episode, but it was a fairly sub-par episode anyway.
George points out to me: "at the end when Xena and Gabrielle are walking off with their arms around each other, I swear as Gab's hand falls, it lingers on Xena's ass."
Cat points out: One thing you are missing is how frantic Xena was when she couldn't find Gabrielle. She ignored the wounded when she thought they had found Gabrielle. It was almost if she wouldn't have the strength to go on with out her. Autolycus noticed how close they were too. Also, she launched herself onto an unknown ship when Gabrielle was in trouble. The last time that happened, it was a cursed ship and they would have spent the rest of their days there if they didn't find the solution. She's willing to risk her life to gaurentee Gabrielle's safety.
