kgalles points out: Gab tells Xena to let her fall into the lava. Xena refuses and takes a bungie jump off a cliff just to save Gabs. Now that's love. Also, while Velasca is the cyclone whizzing through the ruins, Xena keeps close tabs on Gabs and holds her throughout the ordeal.
Radon points out the subtext between Gabrielle and Callisto in this episode: In A Necessary Evil when Callisto grabs Gabrielle's arm real hard it looks like she's trying to make her touch her (Callisto's) body. #3 Then as she is climbing the hallow log pulling herself out & looking at Gabrielle she look's really excited. #4 When Gabrielle asks if Xena's ok Calliso repley's looking like she wants to hug Gabrielle "I'm fine thank you; thanks for asking ; by the way met a new husband since the last one I killed?" (perhaps hurt that Gabrielle didn't ask her & trying to get back at her). #5 Then smiles real big as Gabrielle hits her with her staff.Then says to Xena no wounder why you like her while runing her fingers through her own hair. #6 After that she turns towards Gabrielle "that was good but,you know the problem don't you? I'm immortal you can't kill me; you can't even hurt me; but you want to don't you?here let me help." in a real moany, teasy flirty kind of way then backs away, turns her sword toward's herself and persides to stab herself in & out her stomach while moaning.Looks like she's trying to remind Gabrielle of something, if you know what I mean :).As oppesed to hitting her back. #7 Then when they go to ware Falaska down the first time while hiding behind the rocks Callisto wink's while smiling at Gabrielle then laughs verry happily while turning around & smiling even bigger. #8 When Falaska tells Gabrielle she knows where she is and can here her heart beating faster Callisto looks like she's smiling as she glance towads her (maby hoping that it's because of her). #9 Also after Callisto switched sides and Falaska refused her offer and Xenna jumps out to break her plans while Falaska's throwing fire at her and Gabrielle first starts doing the same thing Callisto yells "I told you they're trying to trick you" at Falaska while charging after her & knocking her down. #10 Also during the campfire scene when Gabrielle ask Callisto if she felt anything when Xena was confessing about what she did to her family in Cirra Callisto totally opens up to her. Then Callisto asks her how long it took her husband to die after she stabed him (maby trying to lighten up the mood, maby trying to get Gabrielle more vounerable so she could take advantage of her, maby just to see how she'd react,maby glad that she killed him and thinking after she kills Xena or her and Xena breakup she's hers but either way not the most tactful thing to say althogh nobody said Calliso was the most stable person in the world;altough it was kind of funny) then laughs & looks aroused as Gabrielle stomps away. #11 Then as walking and plaining to get Falaska to and Callisto makes a joke about Gabrielle then Gabrielle tells her it ends their Callisto reply's "no it dosn't because once Falaska's gone you'll have to deal with me ...." with her hands on her hips looking happy while her eyes look up and down Gabriells body in a settle way like she's trying to be discrete about it. Then she turn towards Xena circles her, lookks her up and down in a verry obvious way and say "but you already have plans for that don't you dear" in a verry sarcastic way while smiling real big but, still looking like she's going to kill her. #12 Just as Falaska has Gabrielle pinned to the ground and is about to kill her Callisto jumps on her back shouting "give me my ambrosia" (probly trying not to let Gabrielle know how much she likes her). #13 When Gabrielle's hanging from the rope with her ambrosia she asks for it as opposed to grabing it from her and steping on her hand to make her fall in
