Mika points out: " If you watch, when Gabrielle takes the 'hula hoop' and starts ..using it, she says to the boys 'Oh boys, come and get your solstice t 2 min later, Xena is STILL filling the stockings. Why did it take her so long? She was WATCHING Gabrielle Hulahoop (hey, it'd distract anyone!)."
kgalles points out: While in the market before the kid steals the chakram: Gabs talks about shopping for solstice gifts. They talk about having only 35 dinars. The clear indication was that they share their money -- like a couple.
BaybeeJune points out: "through this entire episode, Gabrielle has Xena on a three-foot leash--and Xena couldn't be more content! She agrees to make things five times more complicated "if it means that much to you", you being Gab(of course). She's not upset at all that Gabrielle spent their last money on a donkey (lucky for us Xena's got good fortune today!).
