A Day in the Life

Gabrielle tries to hit Xena with her staff . Xena says to her "You were this close 'cause I let you get this close." They then hold eye contact a little too long. Very flirtatious. Hower asks Gabrielle, "Does Xena ever think about settling down, getting married?" "No, she likes what I do," responds Gabrielle. Hower's girlfriend asks Gabrielle, referring to Xena's leather outfit, "Does she sleep in that?" "Well..." Gabrielle leans forward conspiratorily, but is interrupted before she can go on. Xena and Gabrielle bathe together, washing each others backs, splashing, having a grand old time. Hower's girlfriend confronts Xena: "Howers mine! She's your's (referring to Gabrielle.)" Before they go to sleep, Gabrielle kisses Xena on the cheek. Gosh, what a nifty episode! Britt S noticed that when Gabrielle leaps at Xena from the rooftop and falls to the ground, she climbs up Xena using her breastplate as a handhold.
kgalles points out: Oh, way too much to discuss here! What about the fertility goddess in the background all over the place? Xena grabbed Gab's top to drag her to the next town. Xena totally enveloped Gabs while flying the kite. When it worked Gabs made a big deal about "We did it!" Very much a partnership effort, despite Gab's doubts. The argument about the frying pan in the first scene was very much like a bickering couple. "Can we cook with your juices?" Also, the 20 questions game was quite flirtatious, especially when they kicked each other in the behind as they walked down the road. After the "She likes what I do comment," Xena sat down next to Gab VERY close. Gab talks about another one falling for Xena, as if they have to deal with unwelcome male attention a lot. Xena talks about warding them off by wearing smelly sheep skins. Gabs says, "But of course, then you'd be traveling alone." Xena immediately dropped the idea then. Xena had the talk with Hower about not having a "snowball's chance in Tartarus" with her.
Spoon points out: Xena flips the coin. Gab says something. Tha camera cuts to Xena and then back to Hower and Gab. They have the same look on their faces, it's on of utter adoration.
Glowfish says: After the "She likes what I do line". Xena looks over at her flirtiously , and Gabby corrects herself by saying. "She likes what she's doing." Right after Gabby says "settling isn't for her" (Xena), Hower replies "Maybe she hasn't found the right guy". Gabby says with annoyance and pats him on the shoulder "You know anything is possible." and gets hit by another fish by Xena.
