- The blacksmith gives Gabrielle Xena's message: "She said you should pick up her gear and meet her at the tavern."
- From watching the show so much, i have come to realize that this is code for "Come have sex with me."
- Flora vouches for Xena while in the dungeon.
- "Xena taught me to swing a sword and embroid a linen for my wedding chest."
"You embroider?" asks Diomedes.
"I have many skills."- Of course this last line has become legendary amongst us subtext lovers.
- "Xena taught me to swing a sword and embroid a linen for my wedding chest."
- Xena and Flora have a little heart to heart.
- "I know what I'm doing, Xena. I'm not a little girl anymore" says Flora.
"No, you're not" says Xena, appreciatively. - "You always had this knack for understanding what someone wanted without asking. That's one of the thinkgs I liked about you" admits Flora.
- "I know what I'm doing, Xena. I'm not a little girl anymore" says Flora.
- Gabrielle gets thrown into the dungeon. She begins looking for Xena.
- "Have you seen Xena? She's tall; she's beautiful; she has piercing blue eyes...?"
- Salmoneous confronts her.
- "You?! That's the little-miss-innocent who had me thrown in here in the first place!"
"She's my friend" remonstrates Xena.
"She's you friend--SHE'S YOUR FRIEND? You have a friend?! What is she, a warrior?"
"You wouldn't be in here in the first place if you'd kept your hands off my tomatoes!" rebukes Gabrielle.

- "You?! That's the little-miss-innocent who had me thrown in here in the first place!"
Okay people, is there really any doubt here that Flora and Xena used to be lovers? Perhaps this helps explain Xena's initial attraction to Gabrielle; she reminds Xena of Flora's naivete.
