Maternal Instincts

This is a bit of a stretch considering the visuals, but Callisto says to Xena "I came to meet your precious little son. Solan, isn't it? Flesh of your flesh, bone of your bone, blood of your blood.Can't wait to see all that." At the end, as Xena and Gabrielle watch their children burn, Gabrielle says "I love you, Xena." The way she says it, though, is less a statement and more a prompt, as someone would prompt their partner to return the phrase. It is only after Gabrielle says this that Xena breaks down, crying.
